Below are two sets of directions to get here from the Atlanta area. We recommend coming up by Hwy. 575 rather than by Hwy. 400. While the drive by Hwy. 400 leads you through some beautiful mountain roads, the going is slow with sharp hairpin turns for about 35 miles. Many people find this a bit much. Hwy. 575 is a four lane road all the way up and much quicker and easier.

Directions from the Atlanta Area Via Route 575
Take I-75 North thru Atlanta to I-575. Stay on I-575; it will turn into Rt. 515 after the first 30 miles. Continue on Rt. 515 all the way into Blairsville. Once in Blairsville, at the first traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 19/129 South. Follow Rt. 19/129 South thru town. From the Courthouse Square go approximately 3 miles. Just past the Owltown Market and gas station turn left onto Town Creek School Road. Go approximately another 3 miles and the Alpine Cabins’ sign will be on your right. Turn right onto our road, Alpine Way.
Directions from the Atlanta Area Via Route 400
Take Rt. 19/400 North. Stay on Rt.19 North all the way into Union County. Turn right onto Rt. 180 for approximately 2 miles. Take a left onto Town Creek School Road. Go approximately another 2 1/2 miles. The Alpine Cabins’ sign will be on your left. Take a left onto our road, Alpine Way.
